Hi, I have a mercury 200hp 1987. any help on the serial number for this motor. I found 2 numbers they are: 1590-8334 and 11087-4 but i don't see a serial number on any place. any help please<br />Thank you
any help on where i can buy a lower water pickup nose cone flusher for my lower unit. This lower unit doesn't used ear flusher it used cone or nose flusher. Any help on where can i get this part?<br />Thank you
I think Mercury has all thier numbers on the PORT side of the block. Your motor should flush with the rabbit ear muffs. Get them a BoaterWorld or any boatshop/Wal-Mart etc. Run about 5 minutes 1500-2000 RPM/no higher.
There is a small stamped aluminum plate... attached with two little rivets, not on the powerhead at all... but on the tilting part<br />of where the whole outboard pivots SB side.<br /> It may have fallen off! Good luck!
