Mercury 225 EFI

I have a 3ltr.1997 block and heads. Any idea what years this will fit?My neighbor needs a new powerhead and I'm not sure if it will work.His is a 2002 250.Thanks,Jerry

1994-95 interchange,1996-2001 interchange and 2002-2005 interchange per the Merc reman book.
