I bought a boat and the neutral switch is getting stuck in neutral. I took it apart a couple of times and what is happening is the square key in the mechanism is sliding to one side and not allowing the pin to pop back out. So if the pin is not popped out it will not go into forward or reverse. My question is there a simple fix out there or does the control need to be replaced. And if so what does it need to be replaced with??? Thanks in advance guys. Hope you can help me out.
