Mercury 35hp

Hello I was out recently and all of a sudden I went to start the engine again and it kind of half way and then the I tried it again and it made no noise at all and now I can't get it to turn over at all. I know its not the choke plunger, water pump or battery. Does anyone know what this could be? I would like to fix it myself if I can. Is it the starter or is there another name for it?

are you saying the motor is siezed or the starter won't work? can you turn it over with a rope?

Then engine doesn't make any noise at all when i try to turn it over. I didn't try turning it over with a rope. I will try that. Does this at all sound like it could be a plug?

Hello,

I went out and tried to start it with the rope. I couldn't get the full pull, It felt like it was seized up. Anyone know what this means?

Does anyone know how long it generally takes to replace the starter kit? Is it very difficult to do?

Take out your spark plugs and see if it turns over with the starter..or rope. Is the battery charged? Check the fuse also.

Look at the block where all the wires go.

Well I tried everything. I noticed when the spark plugs were out I was able to pull a full pull, but I could not when the spark plugs were in. Does anyone know what this could be or what parts I will have to replace?
