G'day, I recently had to strip down a 5HP 4 stroke Merc (owner had dropped it over the side of his boat into the water). I was suprised at the similarilaty between the Merc and my Briggs and Stratton mower motor, does anyone know if B&S had any input with the Merc as I believe that Merc and Briggs have done some work together in tha past.
