Mercury 7.5 Propeller

Does anyone know the proper number for a propeller that will reverse better than the one I have a 7P A1 3blade that came with the engine. I am able to get three sizes 1.8R8<br /> 2.9R9 <br /> 3.83/4r7<br />Any info would be muchly appreciated<br /><br />Shawn<br />Vahevala2@aol.com

Propellers are always much less effecient in reverse simply because of the nature of the design... Don't know if a prop change would make too much difference..

What size boat are we talking about?<br /> Motors with through hub exhaust sometimes have trouble with sucking exhaust in reverse.<br /> If you can find a 3 blade it might work better.
