I have been trying to start this damn engine for days. I have replaced the trigger and plugs and still get no spark on the lowest plug, every once in a while it will spark . I reside in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and parts are very hard to find and expensive. I think the stator is working as two plugs fire fine. I need help, I'm a chef not a mechanic.
<br />Rule-out the coil by switching them. Take the two (the one not fitring, and a known good one), and switch places. If the dead spark moves allong with it's coil, you lucked-out, and need to only replace the coil.<br /><br />If not, time to get the manual, and look at the switchbox with bad intent.
