Mercury 70hp Remote Control & Wiring Loom

Hi<br />I am fitting a boat out for a friend,it has a Mercury 70hp Oil Injected motor serial #8180064 I have been told it's a 1989 model.<br /><br />I require a remote control unit and wiring loom, I contacted my local supplier and was told there are 2 possible units. Can anyone tell me how I can tell which one.<br /><br />Many Thanks<br />Richard

If it has tilt then you need a box with tilt. If no tilt, then a box with no tilt. They offer a couple of different styles as well. Commander 2000, Commander 3000, pick one to suit you.<br /><br />
