Mercury 75HP MPG??

I just got a 2002 Mercury 75HP 2-stroke oil injection motor and I was wondering what the Miles per Gallon (MPG) or Gallons per Hour (GPH) is? The boat is aluminum Lund 16'6" and weighs about 1,500lbs with gear and people.Being winter makes this not possible for me to find out on my own. Welcome to iboats Youngboater.<br />As a rule of thumb your two strike o/b will burn about 10% of it rated hoursepower in gph of fuel at wfo. To make it easy, your engine will burn about 7.5 gals. (10% of 75hp) per hour at wide open throttle.<br /><br />c/6<br />Hooty
