Hi everyone.<br /><br />I have a 1987 16 foot Sea Lion with a 75 HP Mercury 3 cylinder outboard motor. I cannot get it to idle unless I keep pushing in the key to activate the choke. Also when trying to increase revs it will die. I removed the fuel tank and flushed it along with the fuel lines, cleaned the plugs and fuel filter, even replaced the primer bulb. Bulb will get hard when pumping, but will lose it shortly after. Tried squeezing bulb with motor running-no help still dies. Serial # on motor is #OC260749 been told the motor is the same year as the boat, but dont know for sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. <br /><br />Thanks, PdA slitheryspace@msn.com
