Hi i just put a new water pump on my 89 merc 4.5hp, this engine has less than one hour on it and i've never had it out of the box..The problem is when i start it, the telltale just dripples water out not like the big 85hps that shoots it out??? i've gone over it a 100 times and i dont' know whats wrong with it?? is this normal or not, any suggestions??
