Mercury Bigfoot 60 (Beeps) then dies out

I have a 2001 mercury Bigfoot 60 hp.when started<br />it will run for a minute(Beeps)then dies out. Then<br />It wont start for 10 minutes. then it will start<br />up again for a minute then dies out. then if keeps<br />repeating over again.What could it be. thanks!<br />Skipper808

The beeping is indicating overheat or no oil. Does your telltale show a strong stream of water? Oil in the tank?

I tried switching tanks but it still does the same<br />thing.Im in the process of getting a repair manual<br />hopefully it will help. Thanks for your reply.
