I have a 1990 mercury 90 horse 3 cylinder. And I am looking at a set of carbs for it. My carbs had the marking of 3301-9012 on them. I am looking at a set of carbs off of a late 80's 75 horse mariner with the same exact number on them. Will these work alright? I believe I was reading that quite a few different hp motors back then used the same carbs is that correct? Thanks

Re: Mercury carburetor question..

That is a casting number and there will be a series number such as WME-XX and the difference is the venturis are bored bigger and so are passage ways. If you install them off the 75hp it will turn your motor into a 75hp. The only motor that shared the same carb was the 75 & 80....
