I was out on the lake a few weeks ago and everything was working fine. The last time I turned off the engine to pull in the tube and the boat would not crank back up. I thought I had ran out of gas because my needle was close to E. I put gas in the boat and tried to crank it last night and still nothing. I got spark to the plugs and I tested this by pulling them all out and putting close to the engine head and I can see spark. I was able to get it to fire two times today but it was shut off. I took the carbs off and cleaned them. I also put 2 new/used carbs on and still nothing. I seem to be getting fuel to the carbs but that is it. I am at a loss here. I thought about spraying fuel into the spark plug holes to see at least see if it will try to start because I think this will at least give me something to work with like fuel not getting to head.

Any ideas are appreicated.

Hi there, lets move your inquiry over to the Force sub-forum to see if it will help at all as we have some talented members in here but in the mean time you may want to try performing a cylinder compression test to ensure you don't have a head gasket failure or something further down inside the engine....Hoping not so good luck.

Yes definitely do like Fun Times suggested and perform a compression check. Also would be helpful to let us know what year the motor is.
