Mercury Identification

I have an engine that I cannot identify. I purchased a book from iboats but my engine is not listed. The engine cover shows Merc 700 (I assume this is a 70 HP) The engine number is A-1418749. It is a six (6) cylinder inline, painted black.<br /><br />Need to verify the HP, find the year and a location of a manual/book on this engine. <br /><br />Thanks biasal@aol.com
