Mercury inline 6 pouring gas out of middle carb

I found a leak in the gasket between the fuel pump and motor. I repaired the leak and now when you pump the bulb it won't get hard and gas pours out of the mouth of the middle carb. Thanks in advance for any help!

stuck float, tap on side of the bowl and see if that frees the float to allow it to close the inlet needle.

On inline 6 motors you can force gas past the needle and seat and your center carb may have the weakest one.

If you decide to tap the carb.... be careful

tap on side or take it apart and give it a cleaning, floats stuck.
