Mercury Lower Unit

I have a middle to late 70's Mercury 402. For some reason the lower unit won't come off. I have the service manual and have done every thing correctly, but something is still hanging up. Can anyone help PLEASE????

there is 2 bolts on the sides, and 1 under trim tab. you have then got to pry it away from the powerhead.

Plus the one in front of the trim tab. But the one that everyone misses is the one that's hidden by that trim tab.
