Hi everyone I have an issue with my 1986 175 HP Mariner I used to have mounted on a 86 Skeeter Starfire I used for like 3 years just regular maintenance no problems now I found a good deal on a 2000 nitro NX 882 with no motor so I installed my mariner on it. Changed spark plugs, changed all fuel lines and add a fuel filter took it to the lake and now I can't get it to plane as before with my Skeeter it takes several attempts to be able to get it to plane if I stop and try again it will do the same thing please someone have and advise on wat to start looking for

I thought the nitro was rated at 150hp.

back to your power issue. your motor obviously has an issue. If it sat for a while, the crud in the carburetors is now rock hard.

how long has it sat that you needed to replace the fuel lines?

Start with the basics. have you done a compression test?
since you added all new fuel lines, if any are leaking, that would cause issues.
what kind of fuel filter did you ad? and why did you ad it?
if the compression test came out great, I would move on to cleaning the carburetors and performing a link-n-sync
