MERCURY MARK 30 PROBLEMS!!!!!!!

I have a '58 Mark 30! Some one gave me all I needed to time it. Now the problem is it has no spark and I can't figure out why. If any one has an idea why please let me know. no manual - motor was given to us. kind of a pain trying to fix it!! Thanx for the info!

Get the Pre-1965 Mercury Service Manual from Grubb's Marine (www.oldmercs.com) and you'll be on your way. First step would be to get the magneto out - held on by four bolts right above the mag itself. Helps to have a colorful vocabulary...<br />- Scott
