mercury model????

i just aquired an older mercury outboard motor and am interesting in reviving it. i ran the serial number thats on the motor and i came up with nothing.

s/n 5716597

225 hp v6....can anybody tell me what model # or year or something to get me started.

It's a model 225 and was built in 81 and 82 there was no serail number listing for thse two years and with a 20" shaft was a ELPT or a 25" shaft was a EXPT
