mercury not firing on two cylinders but....

when i remove the two plugs it is not firing on and start it on one then let it run a minute and put the other two plugs in it will run and fire fine any ideas on what to check ? power pack does have a naked wire that isnt attached to anything best i can tell been trying to get this motor going since fathers day for fathers day lol

any ideas on this please the bottom right wire is naked and frayed and not attached to anything could this be the issue .

your switch box { power pack} has probably pack it in.when you get a new one make sure all your grounds are good.
