Mercury Outboard Pulls

I have replaced my evinrude short shaft 15hp tiller outboard with a 92 25hp mercury short shaft tiller outboard. The mercury pulls hard one way. I have adjusted the fin above the prop every way and only get slight improvement. It does not look like the skeg is bent. The prop has some dings in it, but I don't know if that matters.

The rim fin if so equipped will produce the most noticeable effect. Move tail of the little fin in the direction the boat goes.<br /><br />You may find some relief by changeing the propeller. Apparently the diameter/cup/pitch/#of blades will have an effect as to pulling. <br /><br />Sorry, I don't have the exact particulars, but perhaps someone else can help with that.
