Mercury outboard serial numbers

Hi, I'm looking to find the serial numbers for what I think is a 20hp Mercury, called Mercury and looked everywhere they said to,(even under fly wheel) what am I missing.

ID plate on the transom bracket, or a welsh plug on the motor.
