Mercury problems

I have a mid eighties Mercury 140 outboard that starts and runs fine but after about ten minutes it loses power and will only creep along (it never dies though). When it wants to it has plenty of power until it dogs out. I have already checked the vent to the fuel tank and the fuel line and they look fine. Any suggestions you would have are appreciated.<br /><br />Jim<br /><br />This is an inline
