Story---First time I had boat out was running great then I decellerated in wake zone leaving wake zone I gave it gas and it stalled acted like it was starving for fuel would idle ok but when giving fuel it would bogg dwn limped back to ramp and turned motor off and it hasnt started again? I pulled gas line off and tried to start appeared to be pumping appropriate amount of gas ? carbs looked gd and like I said was running perfect so I wouldnt think all of the sudden the carbs would be an issue? compression was gd checking fire tonight.would a bad stator that went out feel like that ? also if it is stator if I have the black stator can I stay with that one or do I have to go to new improved Red Stator ? I guess If I go to the Red one there are allot of other item that would have to be replaced along with that ? its a whole lot more expensive to buy red stator and the other components..looks like tripple the price online .
