I have a question about the out drive of my moter. when i rotate the propeller with my hand i can here a clicking sound almost like the ballbarings are shot, but it istill run and does not seem to have any other problems. If any one knows if their is something terably wronge with the out drive please reply to this mesage.

linkages should be adjusted just a little, its the clutch dog clattering, not in neutral possion perfect, try moving shift lever just a little foward or back and see if noise goes away when prop is turned ( of course with engine off)

In foward it will lock up one way and ratchet in the other that is normal.
