Mercury switch location?? HELP_!

I have a 1969Merc 500 #2629264. I have taken and rebuilt the fuel system and am still having trouble with the low idle and slow speeds after a long hard run. I noticed that someone else had similar issues and replace the merury switch. I dont think my motor has one but thought I would ask the Pro's.

I don't know if your motor has one. However, if you do have one, it kills spark to all cylinders. Is that what you are seeing?
