Can the Mercury Switch be removed without effecting engine? This is a small cylindrical part that has one wire going out to the switch box and another that just loops to itself. <br /><br />What is it for? if it must stay on, where the heck can I get another?<br /><br />1972 65 hp merc.<br /><br />Thanks!
