MERCURY TILT&TRIM

I am trying to add fluid to the tilt and trim unit. DO I add it in the up or down position?Right now, both positions seem have a pressurized system as fluid comes out (with air bubbles) when I loosen the plug.<br /><br />jacko

You add it in the up position. Then cycle it 4 or 5 times and check the level again.
