When running flat out (19ft ski boat) I'm getting 46mph out of this motor - must admit I expected more.. I have noticed two unusual tendencies:
1) Two thin walls of water rising vertically either side of the lower unit (not a rooster tail) it's right next to the transom.
2) The boat always seem to be leaning to the right at speed (not riding on the V as you expect) it also pulls to the right and is heavy to steer to the left. My trim tab on the leg is set fully to the right as you look at it from behind.
I wondering if the outboard is to low on the transom - how would I check?
Thanks,
James
