Hey guys I have a 1994 mercury xri currently running bu8h plugs. My question is there another plug that I could run that could help with some fouling. I have tps currently set to .210 but if I idle around alot it seems to load up fuel and I have to rev engine in idle to clear it up then it's fine. I realize I might have another problem going on but I was just curious about a different plug that might help

Thank you

tried tpi at .250?... should have an "idle speed controller" on it.. roughly 3" x 4" black box with a red/white, white/ black going to a switch box... trash it.. reset timing at idle in tha water, in gear ta what ever makes you and tha motor happy... book timing at idle doesn't always work out.

could be a coupla other things also. leaky/bad injector or o-ring etc....

Gee, I have a '93 Merc V6 with carbs. She idles perfectly. One would think a newer, more advanced motor would work as well.
