HI, i have a 2007 90 bigfoot mecury out boart motor i bought new confused:2007), i got a used poontoon (24ft) but the original motor was bad so i bought a new one.The dearler i bouht the 90 merury from instaled it to my boat so i never had a reason to take the cal off, so now my transom is bad so i go to the same dealer and bouht the proper lift eyelet to lift my motor, only to find that the threads in the flywheel where the eyelet goes is cross threaded. I was wondering if this is a warranty or what should i do? any options? i could already chew nails into lol

That is on the original dealer, if he crossed it installing the motor the first time I would say he is on the hook to fix it.

It is definately not warranty, that only covers Merc problems, this was done to the engine, same as the warranty won't cover you beating it with a hammer.

If that dealer installed the motor originally he knew he crossed it and probly figured it woudl never need pulled agian, have him fix it.

BE NICE, the last thing you want is to go in screaming and yelling LAWYER!!!, be nice and try to work it out before going to to screaming and yelling.
