Merry Fisher 695 - change of prop did the trick

Just for info - have a Merry Fisher 695 with Volvo Penta 105hp to a 3 blade 19" 15pitch
prop - on a good day max speed 10-12kts @ 4000rpm

Contacted Clements Marine http://www.clementsmarine.co.uk/home/

Supplied the make/model/hull no - engine and gearbox ratio.

?600 later - new prop - 3 blade - 19" dia - 19 pitch - now 17-18kts at 4000rpm

Cruising mid-range at 3000pm gives 12knts - OVERALL - VERY HAPPY - chnaged the boat.

What is a Merry Fisher 695,must be a real load.??19" diameter on a 105 hp?Intended for a big cruiser or something?
