Message for ''alcan'' Can't find proper model ID and year

I have a Chrysler 8hp - model: 83-BD serial: 1010 - it is a long shaft 22.5 inches and I can't find this model no where in many online parts lookup catalog. Is there someone with an idea of what year this motor could be ?<br /><br />Thanks !<br /><br />Mario

Smokey,<br />Member "Alcan" will know. If you don't get a reponce from him on this post, you may want to directly post to him. It's tough getting those chrysler years! He has the books on them.

Yep , Your model 83BD Starting with ser#1001 is a 1973.
