I'm considering a stainless prop for my Mercruiser 3.0L and came across Michigan Wheel Apollo XHS props. I like the idea of the exchangeable hubs and I believe that the plastic in the hub is designed to absorb impact or disintegrate to save the drive since the prop is less likely to break but my problem is that this prop with the hub is almost $50 cheaper than the other MW stainless props.
Are these lower quality props or are they just saving money by building one housing and changing hubs to fit different drives?
