Michigan Prop SMS 549

Hello,

I am looking to replace the prop on my 18 ft chrysler bow rider tri-hull. It has the Volvo Penta AQ 130/270T. The prop i pulled off was labeled Michigan SMS 549. Ive looked everywhere on the net for the diameter and pitch of this prop and have no luck. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

correction. Its an SMC 549. not SMS. sorry

Try franzmarine@aol.com. He has props for all kinds of Chrysler products and can tell you the correct pitch and diameter you will need.

If you are not in a hurry, try searching Chrysler props on ebay. I have seen a couple of Volvo ones listed for sale in the past.

Thank you. I ended up figuring it out. Its an oldie. 14x19 RH. I got lucky and found a guy on craigs list that sold me 3 props and a complete aq270 outdrive with prop for 100 dollars total. All the gears and bearings look mint in it too. Didnt need them but for that price i wasnt going to pass it up.
