Microsoft Outlook Mail Worm Virus ?

Today, my husband at work (local government office) and one of my sisters began receiving like 50-100 emails an hour from addresses like hotmail, rr.com but most coming from osc.state.ny.us (which is also a government office).<br /><br />Anyone else experiencing this? I personally don't use Outlook and can't seem to find a fix for it.

The whole office got hit real bad. One virus after the other.<br /><br />Except my art department. We use Macs.<br /><br />With all the crap that we get from the PC users, they all seem pretty humble that the macs are the only place thet can safely use email and the internet

Definitely a virus, there is nothing you can do to fix their system just protect yourself. Make sure your virus software is up to date on your system at home. If there is a specific text every time in the subject line, you can create a rule to delete the emails with that subject line automatically until the other offices have their systems cleaned. In a big case, it may take days for them to clean the problem up.
