mid 70's johnson 6, water leak at intake??????

looking at buying what looks like a mid 70's johnson 6hp ( just from pics on the ad) . the seller says it has a small water leak at the intake manifold. i cant quite make that story add up......whats the most probable cause of a water leak on that end of the motor????

It is no water in the intake manifold area. Ask for a pick showing where the leak is.
