mid 90's Johnson 28 spl. Opinions?

My neighbor has a mid 90's Johnson 28hp SPL. He's offered it to me for $200. I haven't checked it out beyond seeing it in his garage. Does anybody have any opinions on these? It would be replacing a 25hp Evinrude.

The prop on the engine seems really small. Definitely much smaller than the prop on my 25.

I have a 95 28hp spl...And Ive owned it for 10 years and I like it...Not sure of your location, but I wouldnt hesitate buying it for 200. If you dont buy it and are within a decent drive contact me.

My dad has a flat bottom boat and a newer 25 hp johnson and he will slowly pull away from me, but Im in a aluminum deep v 16' and I have 150lbs on him... Good running motor.
