Mini Carpet Shampooer?

I searched but didn't find much. Question, I'm wanting to buy a small carpet shampooer to use in my boat. I don't have much carpet, but it could use a good cleaning and I don't have much room to use a full size machine. Is there a mini sized shampooer availaible? Please point me in the right direction.

Bissell made a small carpet cleaning system for a shop vac. I used it a couple times with so-so results.
I've heard good things about a new Bissell machine called the SpotBot. It's true mission is carpet spot removal but it should work well on a boat. I see new ones on ebay for under 100 bucks.

My wife bought a bissel "little green". She likes it an says it worked well and will work well for samll areas on a boat.

I have one of these I use for small stains and our stairs. I was gonna try it on the boat but have not gotten to it yet. It works pretty well. They make a couple of versions, mine is this one. I liked it because it has two rotating brushes that contact the carpet directly, Here's a link.

wallmart mas one for under 80 bucks....i think its a little green.


but with any of those cleaners.....the hotter the water.....the better....for every 8 deg you increace....you double your cleaning power

Thanks for the help guys! I think I'll take everyones advice and get the Bissel Little Green Machine. It looks like it has everything I need.

My wife loves the Little Green I got for those small mishaps ....... it really does a great job and compact too.

Just thought I would finish the thread....

I got the Bissel Little Green for Christmas. I got a chance to use it last week and it worked amazingly well. I'm very pleased with the unit, and appreciate everyones advice!

It's unanimous! The Bissel Little Green is great! I do my boat cabin a couple of times a year with it, works great. The rest of the time my wife uses it to follow the puppy around the house...

I just spray Simple Green followed by the pressure washer. All the gunk and dirt just goes out the drain plug.

In the spring I'll mix up a bucket of warm water and laundry detergent and spread it out on the boat carpet. Wait a few minutes and then suck it up with the shop vac. Rinse with the hose and the carpet is clean as new.

We have a little green machine at work that they use to detail out used cars and trade-ins. It works surprisingly well for its size. I have been thinking of getting one for home for the boat and the vehicles.

I got a little green machine for X-mas for purposes of the boat, then got a new puppy at home. The thing works great for puppy mishaps. Can't wait to get it into the boat. Its got strong suction and easy to maneuver.
