Minkota ipilot

I have a 2010 StarCraft 17 foot with 139 ETEC and mounted on the front a Minkota ipilot. There are 2 12 volt batteries in series to power the ipilot. I want to know how long the electric motor will run before the batteries discharge. I was out on sunday and after 3 hours the batteries had almost died. What do you think is a reasonable expectation for the batteries?

What he said and how old are they? How heavily was it being used for the three hours?

I have an 80# Terrova ipilot that will run continuously while I troll for at least 7 hours and still work fine. That's on new batteries with a full charge.

I ran it full out for 3 hours. I am not sure how old the batteries are but they were fully charged 2 days before the trip. Maybe the batteries are old? What do you guys think?
