I am fixing two 2005 manufactured Endura 50 motors where previous owner removed the 5 Speed Switch 2064028 and ran the motors at a single speed by splicing appropriate wires together. While connecting 6 wires to new switches I am having trouble obtaining appropriately-sized Female Spade Quick Disconnect Connectors. I don't know for certain what AWG Gauge the wires are. I believe the 2 largest wires (Black and red/Black) that connect directly to the battery are 8 Gauge. There is 1 Black wire and 1 Red wire that appear to be 10 gauge. And there is a Yellow wire and a White wire that are around 14/16 gauge--no problem there.
Where can I obtain larger size (10 or even 8 gauge) Female Spade Quick Disconnect Connectors?
I have tried local Big Box Hardware stores, auto stores, etc and best I can find are some 12/10 gauge connectors--but these are too small for the heaviest Red and Black/Red wires that connect directly to the battery. I did find locally some 12/10 gauge connectors which barely fit the Medium size Red and Medium-size Black wire. As mentioned, Yellow and White wire are no problem
