Minn Kota Endura 50 problem

Does anyone know what is under the plastic in the motor housing of this trolling motor? There are two yellow wires and a white wire protruding from the plastic. The trolling motor only has two of it's five forward speeds and one of it's three reverse speeds operational. Replacing the switch did not repair it.

I have the same problem with my 50<br />speeds 3,4,5 foward / 2, 3 reverse are the<br />only ones that work . I bought is used and don't<br />know its history
