So I picked up this trolling motor used with a new 27 series battery for $225. Thought I got a deal of a lifetime. After an hour of use the control module took a crap. The controller and motor checked out. I followed all the tests minn kota told me to do. They are very helpful. I was wondering if anyone has taken one apart to repair it? They're $300 to replace. It's part number 2990236 or 2770229. One of those numbers is the old one and superceded with the other. I can't even get the cover off the module though. Just wanted to see what burned up in there. Any help with finding the part for cheaper, or what I could do to fix it would be great. Thanks
