Minnkota 24v 65lb only goes in reverse

Here's a weird one ... I just purchased a used 24v 65lb transom mount minnkota. It works ok, BUT it only goes in reverse ... If I put it in forward - it goes in reverse. If I put it in reverse it (correctly) goes in reverse (so probably not a polarity problem). Any idea what might be happening and/or how to fix it?

Replace the FWD/REV switch.
