miss at idle

number 1 and 2 cylinders not firing 88 mercury 150 xr4 carburated 3 carbs. all cylinders 120 compression.<br /> good fire at plugs and has new plugs. it did get hot when this all started . once i give it full throtle it runs great and plains out. ricfrench1@aol.com

ALSO ANOTHER QUESTION IF ANYBODY HAS ANY INFO THIS 1988 MERCURY XR4 150 HAS WIRING THAT LEADS BACK TO THE LUBE ALERT FROM THE TEMP SENSORS IF OVER HEATS WILL IT LIMIT THE RPM BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THIS MOTOR IS DOING ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED THANKS.
