Planning to be finished around mid summer unfortunately !!!!
We will have around 500 sq ft of "Pub" now that I have moved a couple of interior walls. Have run several new circuits and breakers as we will have a 100sq ft stage for the drumkit, keyboard guitars and karaoke system. I am constructing the bar itself myself from oak, bar back with mirrors from oak also. Have had to run plumbing from the middle of the house to the back end for the sink at the bar. Karaoke machine will be run to the big TV hanging in one corner. A darts area, bar lights, stage lights, feature syncronised lights that move with the music amongst a lot of other things that I will not go into here. The preparation and planning has taken a lot of time so that we do not miss anything (hopefully) then the teardown took a while as this area used to be 2 bedrooms, a hallway and some storage. Then decided to make the family room smaller and the pub bigger so we had to move a wall or two. Currently have started drywalling and just finished framing and drywalling around the ductwork. Then finish drywall, build stage, install ceiling and lighting, install wood floor, build bar and bar back, add bar furniture and fittings and then.............................Drink Heavily at the opening night party !!!!
I will however make time for boating during construction as soon as the weather improves enough !!!
