Anyone know anything about these boats? They are a fairly new company I believe. They seem like they are built well.
Here's a link to the one I'm looking at.
http://mistyharborboats.com/14ct.htm
I'm looking at the 16 CT. What do you think?
Dman

I can get the 16 ft for about $3500.00 with no motor. It's in the right price range for me.
I'm partial to the tillers for space reasons.
The dealer is in Eau Claire,(Zacho's) there are not too many dealers out there that carry this line.

Re: Misty Harbor Boats

I have had a couple boats like the one on ebay. Decent for shallow rivers and stuff, but I moved up to Northwestern WI recently and there are some bigger bodies of water here. I really like the floor, much more stable. I have a 30 hp Yammy to put on the boat.
The $3500.00 is a 2003 or 2002 model.
D

Re: Misty Harbor Boats

Hi there. My neighbor has a Misty Harbor, also a co-worker. They are becoming more popular around here.

I would definately recommend the 16' over a 14'. They are a little more money but trust me, you never have enough room. And its a purchase that you will likely keep for many years.

I also think the price is a bit much, unless it includes a nice trailer. Check out a Lund rebel ss. very similar, but maybe a better price.?.

The tiller models usually have a longer rod locker and more tacklebox/cooler/net/etc. space.

Happy shopping. Say hi to Jake Leinenkugel for me.

I'll check it out this weekend and see what I can get a couple dealers down to.
Zacho's in Eau Claire and Chetek Marine carries them. I'll have them battle it out for the lowest price.

I will probably being enjoying one of Jake's fine products tonight!!

Dman
