mixed fuel

A buddy bought a used pontoon boat with a oil injection yamaha that did not come with a manual. Having only owned 2 strokes that used mixed fuel he mixed oil in the gas... Can he just remove as much fuel as he can, replace with new and run out the bad fuel hopefully get back to normal?

The extra oil from one tank of gas isn't likely to do anything harmful other than create a cloud of blue smoke. The plugs may foul, so check them to see if they are black and oily (fouled) or brown (good). You can dilute the tank of fuel a little as it is burned off by adding some more straight gas.
