Model # missing

This may be a dumb question, but, my 1989 Force 125 is missing the serial#/ Model # data plate , just how are you suppose to order the correct parts if this data palte is missing?? thanks for all your help

It seems that alot of those id plates have been removed. The only reasons I can figure is that someone was trying to hide the true age of the motor or it was stolen at one time. But who would steal a Force?<br /><br />Unfortunatley there were many many years/models/variations of that motor. Hard to id them. <br /><br />Best to find a local shop that can id/verify correct model and correct parts. But they're gonna want to get paid.
